Dia de los Muertos, also known as Day of the Dead, began as an Aztec ritual that has been practiced for over 3,000 years to celebrate the dead.
Today, in rural Mexico, ancestors visit the graves of their loved ones to decorate the stones with marigolds and candles. The place bottles of tequila on the adults graves and eat the deceased favorite foods.

  1. Hi! Body Art by Allison was responsible for hiring all the face painters for Cuervo's Subteranneo 2011. Mark was just one of the many talented artists involved in this event. Just want to give credit where credit is due! :) Please check out www.bodyartbyallison.com! Thanks so much!
